A.T.P. Engineers are elite units of the A.A.H.W., one of the two products of the Accelerated Training Program along with A.T.P. Soldats. Unlike Soldats, Engineers specialize in intelligence and leadership rather than combat prowess and are the ones responsible for conducting Project Nexus.
As with all A.T.P. units, Engineers secrete yellow blood instead of red blood.

Alongside l33t Agents, A.T.P. Engineers were deployed against Kelzad Oox and Yeelon Mekyr when they escaped from their tubes. A squad of Engineers later surrounded the two but did not shoot so Zalmamdar Oox could have a chance to extend his hand to them.
When Kelzad Oox was rebuilt and escaped training, A.T.P. Engineers were deployed again to stop him. A squad of A.T.P. Engineers and l33t Agents later showed up to rescue Kelzad from Yeelon Mekyr. After being freed from Yeelon's grasp, Kelzad teamed up with Zalmamdar Oox and his Nexus Units to fight Yeelon.
